Meet the President
Angelia "Angie" Payne, DBA
Bio:
Angelia (Angie) Payne is Co-Founder, President, and CEO of A American Container, one of the region’s leading providers of portable storage solutions.
With 27 years in the container industry, Angie is one of the first women to own a container company, having built the business from a concept into a fleet of more than 1,100 containers offering rentals, sales, and custom modifications.
Angie holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business and an MBA in accounting and management from Saint Leo University.
An active volunteer at the port, she supports many charities and serves on several boards, including the Propeller Club of Tampa Bay and USF’s Nault Center for Entrepreneurship.

We hold the distinction of being the United States largest Propeller Club!
As a new member you will pay $150 for your first year, and $140 for renewing years.
More than 30% of your renewal fee is paid directly to our parent company, International Propeller Club. for our annual dues.
The Tampa Propeller Club is a maritime-focused club, but we have members in related fields such as banking, utility companies, legal firms, trucking companies, logistics, containers, and more!
