The Tampa Propeller Club celebrated Maritime Industry Night on March 1st with keynote speaker Marco Rubio.  The "Maritime Person of the Year" was Captain Timothy M. Close, USCG who is the current Commanding Officer, Sector St. Petersburg (a.k.a. "Captain of the Port"). The Tampa Propeller Club "Member of the Year" was Mark LaFon of Tampa Pipe Welding/Marine Metal Works.  Nancy Simms was presented a Special Recognition Award for Ten Years of Service.  Other Awards:
