Over the next few weeks, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will be upgrading to a new version of the system the Tampa Port Authority uses to conduct fingerprint based background checks. 

Due to these upgrades, the Tampa Port Authority Security Operations Center will not be issuing new or renewal port access badges from Thursday, January 21, 2010 at  10:00 AM until at least Monday, January 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM.  Additional community bulletins will be transmitted if any changes to this schedule occur.
